Join us to find out more about how the future of agriculture and food systems is being shaped by scientists and industry collaborations.
This networking business breakfast at UWE Bristol's Future Space, Frenchay Campus, is part of a new series bringing together farmers, food producers and agri-tech businesses to explore practical solutions to the challenges facing the sector through collaborative research and development.
This session will focus on how tools and technology such as machine vision and AI are being applied in real-world settings to improve productivity, reduce waste, and support more resilient supply chains.
Keynote Speakers
Professor Mark Hansen will highlight cutting-edge solutions developed in UWE Bristol's Robotics Lab which have already been commercialised and showcase how these technologies are shaping the future of agriculture.
Associate Professor Alexandros Stratkos will share innovations in food systems such as 3D printed food and cutting edge research within in UWE Bristol's Sustainable, Agriculture, Food and Environment research network.
Dr Kyle Alves will share his expertise in the agri-food tech overlapping areas of management, new technologies, digtial transition, and coordinated supply chains.
