Description
Interested in making a difference in your community, meeting new people or exploring careers in the charity sector?
Join us for a relaxed wellbeing walk from Frenchay Campus through Stoke Park, with the chance to connect with a local charity and see what they do.
What to expect
- A gentle 1.5 mile walk through Stoke Park
- Meet the team at Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust
- Visit their community space, The Hub
- Learn about the charity's work and the impact it has locally
- Explore flexible volunteering opportunities and ways to get involved.
Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust works with local residents to create a fairer, healthier and more sustainable community. Their activities range from nature-based projects and wellbeing sessions to creative groups and community events.
This is a great opportunity to gain insight into how community organisations operate, meet professionals working in the sector, and learn how volunteering can help you develop valuable skills and experience.

After you have booked your space, we will email you with details of where we will meet at Frenchay Campus to begin our walk.
