Eligibility to attend graduation
The criteria for taking part in an Awards Ceremony.
Quick links
Undergraduate students
If your award is confirmed at an Award Board between November and June you will be able to attend a July Awards Ceremony.
If your award is confirmed at an Award Board between July and October you will be able to attend a November Awards Ceremony.
Integrated Masters
The above two rules apply if you study on an integrated Masters award eg MEng, MPlan, or MArch.
Postgraduate students
If your award is confirmed at an Award Board between November and February then you will be able to attend a July Awards Ceremony.
If your award is confirmed at an Award Board between June and October then you will be able to attend the November Awards Ceremony.
Exceptions
MScPGDip Solution Focused Therapy
If you are an MSc PGDip Solution Focused Therapy student, you can attend a July ceremony as long as your award is confirmed, or will be confirmed, before the graduation.
University Centre Hartpury
University Centre Hartpury students who have had their awards accredited by UWE Bristol can attend the October graduation ceremony in Gloucester Cathedral.
UWE Bristol, Gloucester Campus
If you study at UWE Bristol, Gloucester Campus you can attend the October Awards Ceremony in Gloucester Cathedral.
Other exceptions
You can attend a November ceremony if you are on one of the below courses:
- March intakes of Nursing awards
- Graduate Diploma in Law
- Postgraduate Diploma Bar Professional Training Course
