What is UWE First?

If you are considering living at home while studying or commuting to university then UWE Bristol could be the right choice for you.

Through UWE First, you can access enhanced support, guidance and admissions benefits when applying to UWE Bristol.

The UWE First package includes:

  • A guaranteed reduced tariff offer, lowered by 16 UCAS tariff points for undergraduate courses and 8 UCAS tariff points for foundation courses, subject to specific course requirements.
  • Dedicated support from our admissions team.
  • Guaranteed interview for BSc(Hons) Nursing - Adult, Mental Health and Children and Young People and BA(Hons) Primary Education (QTS) courses.
  • Free online and in-person information, advice and guidance sessions to support your application to UWE Bristol.
  • Access to our pre-higher education careers adviser support, subject to availability.
  • Guaranteed accommodation for students who want to live on or nearer campus and select UWE Bristol as their firm first choice.
