This course brings together knowledge from a variety of fields to give you a deep understanding of the environmental challenges facing the world today. Through a practical, hands-on approach, you’ll gain exposure to the skills and technology employed at the forefront of environmental science.

Carry out your own investigations in our specialist labs and use the latest mapping software in our dedicated computer suite. Learn to analyse and interpret complex data, and pioneer environmentally sound, scientifically robust, practical solutions.

BSc(Hons)/MSci Environmental Science with Foundation Year

You will study a Foundation Year (Year Zero) and on successful completion you will begin Year One of the main degree. The recommended route of study for international students is through the UWE Bristol International College.

FdSc Integrated Wildlife Conservation is particularly relevant if you're attracted to a career in conservation but haven't considered university before. You'll get a recognised qualification in wildlife conservation after two years and can take your study to degree level by doing the one-year BSc(Hons) Integrated Wildlife Conservation top-up at UWE Bristol.
