The evolution of architectural forms is influenced by designing buildings in detail. For architectural technologists to be at the centre of the contemporary construction, they need to develop an expertise in construction technology, structural design, building science, refurbishment and building information modelling (BIM). Today, development in building fabric technology can enhance architectural expression and ensure modern buildings are energy efficient, long lasting and buildable.

This course equips you to become a Chartered Architectural Technologist, putting you in a strong position to secure work in the contemporary construction industry as you are able to integrate creative ideas with technical detail as well as being able to control the procurement process.
