Transcript of training

If you study, or have studied on, a UWE Bristol healthcare course (formerly known as an NHS course), you can apply for a transcript of training for your award.

There are three kinds of transcript available – each one has a cost attached that you will need to pay through our Online Store. You can apply for:

  • a full transcript, which costs £75
  • an enhanced transcript, which costs £50
  • a basic transcript, which costs £25.

Types of transcript

Full transcript

This transcript will provide you with:

  • a confirmation of study letter
  • a certificate of credit, which shows the modules, levels, dates, marks, decision and credits achieved
  • a course syllabus, which includes programme and module specifications
  • training information relevant to your programme of study
  • any completion of application forms
  • international postage and/or recorded delivery.

Depending on your course, it will also cover:

  • a transcript of training profile (for Physiotherapy, Radiotherapy/Diagnostic Imaging and Occupational Therapy) which includes clinical practice information and hours of practice undertaken
  • a basic nurse training record (for Nursing and Midwifery), which includes theory and practice hours, placement areas
  • a midwifery profile (for Midwifery), which shows clinical experience.

Enhanced transcript

This transcript will provide you with:

  • a confirmation of study letter
  • a certificate of credit
  • a course syllabus, which includes programme and module specifications
  • any completion of application forms
  • international postage and/or recorded delivery

or

  • a confirmation of study letter
  • a certificate of credit
  • training information relevant to your programme of study
  • any completion of application forms
  • international postage and/or recorded delivery.

Basic transcript

This will provide you with:

  • a confirmation of study letter
  • a course syllabus, which includes programme and module specifications
  • international postage and/or recorded delivery

or

  • a confirmation of study letter
  • training information
  • international postage and/or recorded delivery

or

  • a confirmation of study letter
  • completion of overseas forms
  • international postage and/or recorded delivery.

How to apply for a transcript

When your transcript will arrive

We aim to complete requests as soon as possible. Once we have received your payment, we will produce and send your transcript. Please note that during busy times of the year, we aim to produce and send your transcript within 12 weeks or less (this is dependent on us successfully retrieving your student records).
