MOVE opportunities

The MOVE programme offers you the opportunity to play netball through drop-in sessions and intramural leagues. These sessions allow you to play in a friendly atmosphere, and are open to all levels of ability.

Intramural leagues

Our social netball league provides you with the opportunity to play netball in a fun yet semi-competitive environment.

League details

Teams will usually have one match per week, but there may be occasions where they have two matches or a rest week. You will not be required to be there all evening.

Please book early to secure your spot in the league. There will be a link to sign up in your welcome email but you can also contact if you have questions.

Joining a league is free with MOVE membership.

MOVE drop-in sessions

MOVE netball drop-in sessions allow you to play in a relaxed style and are open to beginners. Details of the 2020 drop-in sessions will be available soon.

Venue: Sports hall, Centre for Sport, Frenchay Campus

Cost: Free with MOVE membership or £5 per session. These sessions are drop-in, but places are limited so please register for sessions via the app or online.

Join the club

Run by The Students’ Union at UWE, you can join Team UWE Bristol Netball who compete in British Universities and Colleges (BUCS). The club is fun and competitive, and have four teams spread throughout the league so you can get involved whether you are a beginner or experienced player.
