Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on self defence and includes throws, locks, groundwork and strikes.
The UWE Bristol Jiu Jitsu Club welcomes all levels of ability and all genders. Training is available to help you develop your skills in the sport.
More advanced practitioners can get involved with the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) squad.
Jiu Jitsu is run by The Students’ Union at UWE.
