Description
UWE Cares is supporting the Carers Trust 'Young Carers Action Day' on Wednesday 12 March and this year’s theme is 'Give me a break', focusing on the importance of rest and respite for young carers.
UWE Cares currently supports 171 young adult carer students (between 18 and 25) who look after family members because of illness, disability or addiction, as well as studying.
Come along and speak with UWE Cares and some of our young adult carers to find out about how you can support carers or if you need support yourself.
You can find out more about UWE Cares, or email us at uwecares@uwe.ac.uk.
