Description
Join Amalka Nawarathna for a fun, informal and inclusive creative event exploring how unwanted and reusable materials can be given a new life through collage.
This free, two-hour, in-person workshop is open to all UWE Bristol staff and students. You will be provided with a selection of unwanted, reused and recycled materials and invited to create your own unique collage inspired by broad environmental themes, such as My Sustainable Future, Nature, Wildlife, My Planet, My Choices, and more.
You can choose to create your collage individually or work together as a group. With the creators’ consent, the completed artworks will eventually be showcased around the university, giving everyone the opportunity to share their creativity and ideas with the wider UWE Bristol community.
No artistic experience is required! This is a relaxed opportunity to experiment, explore your creativity and have fun transforming everyday materials into something new and meaningful.
All materials will be provided.
Registration and tickets
It is free to attend but to help us get an idea of the number of participants you must register your space.
