Want to develop a new skill that’s both practical and great for your CV? Our soldering workshop is the perfect opportunity, especially if you’re interested in volunteering at the UWE Bristol Repair Café.
What you’ll learn
- Soldering fundamentals: Master the basics of soldering, including safety guidelines and the essential tools you’ll be using.
- Practical experience: Gain hands-on practice creating strong, clean solder joints on circuit boards and electronic components.
- Repair skills: Equip yourself with the ability to repair electronic devices—a key skill for volunteering at the UWE Bristol Repair Café.
This workshop is ideal for those keen to make a difference in the community by joining the UWE Bristol Repair Café, where you can help fix electronic items and promote sustainability. Plus, soldering is a valuable skill that can enhance your employability, particularly in fields like engineering, electronics, and product design.
