Description
Hybrid event – attend in person or online
As the first phase of the AHRC-funded 'Enclothed Knowledges: Practice-Based Fashion Research Network' comes to a close, this symposium brings together researchers exploring the methods, knowledges and modes of dissemination that emerge through practice-based fashion research.
The day will feature presentations from network participants alongside our collaborative peer review model, exploring new ways of responding to practice-based fashion research.
Rather than conventional evaluation, participants will engage in live dialogue around works in progress, using care-based feedback to reflect on embodied, material and sensory forms of knowledge.
Join us to discover current practice-based fashion research, contribute to conversations about new research methodologies, and help shape the future of peer review in fashion studies.
