The UWE Bristol Philosophy team are pleased to be welcoming Phil Tovey (Head of Futures) from the Department for Environment, Food, & Rural Affairs for this talk on ''Philosophy and Policy''.
Phil will be discussing how philosophical insights and skills such as conceptual nuance, critical thinking, and careful evaluation can make major contributions to policy.
This event will be really informative for any students studying a social science or humanities discipline, especially anyone who is interested in a career in the civil service or the third sector.
Staff and alumni are also very welcome to attend!
