Description

These open-water swimming sessions are part of the UWE Bristol Sport Try-series. These sessions are for experienced swimmers as they are lifeguarded but not instructed so some experience in open-water swimming is advised.

You need your own swimwear, wetsuits are optional but if you do not wear a full-length wetsuit you will need a tow float. Tow floats are available to hire from the venue for a minimal charge.

The session is two hours long but you can swim any time during this time. There is free parking on site.

How to book

MOVE is free for UWE students. If you haven't registered yet, register online. (If you are a UWE gym member you are automatically enrolled on to the MOVE programme).

Once you have your PIN number, book sessions through the UWE Sport app or online.

MOVE is also open to UWE staff, their families and members of the public.
