Description
Enjoy a trip outdoors and discover the wildlife at this incredible space.
See the Eurasian brown bears alongside wolves in Bear Wood. There are also giraffes, lemurs, meerkats, river hogs, deer, zebras, cheetahs and birds.
Go wild and explore 50 acres of beautiful nature, from woodlands and gardens to the tranquil Tower Meadow - perfect for a picnic.
The gorillas have recently been moved from their old Bristol Zoo location to their new home in the African Forest habitat at Wild Place. They have settled in to their new environment and you can observe them enjoying their new habitat.
The Bristol Zoo Project is passionate about conservation. They are saving wildlife through conservation science research, working to protect species and habitats overseas, encouraging sustainable behaviours and perceptions, educating tomorrow’s wildlife warriors and connecting people with nature through a great day out.
This event is for our current students only.
The Student Life Team will leave the Frenchay Campus at 11:30. Please meet them at the bus stops by 11:15.
Alternatively you can meet the team at the venue at 12:15.
There are food outlets at the location, but you may want to bring snacks or lunch to eat.
