Join the sustainability committee for an exciting series of interactive workshops exploring the journey of food, from smart shopping to composting! Whether you want to save money, reduce waste, learn new skills, or get creative, this event has something for you.
- Shop smarter and save money: learn how to budget, meal plan, and avoid overbuying.
- Pickling and fermentation demos: discover how to extend the life of your food.
- Food redistribution: find out how food can be shared and re-used to prevent waste.
- Composting and circular food systems: learn how composting works at UWE and in Bristol and how we can make institutions more sustainable.
- Hip-hop and food waste: experience an interactive rap session with Ian, turning food waste awareness into creative expression!
This is a hands-on, engaging event designed to help you cut costs, make the most of your food, and take action towards a more sustainable future.
