Description
Our relaunched series of business-university networking events are run collaboratively between the Bristol Business School and Future Space, UWE’s innovation centre. Usually, on the first Wednesday of the month.
Are you keen to build new university connections at UWE Bristol? Or perhaps you’re looking to kickstart new collaborative R&D projects with UWE academics? Or even to initiate business consultancy projects with UWE’s student body?
Professor Ramin Amali, Dean and Head of UWE’s Engineering School, will present an overview of the Engineering School’s approach to working with all kinds of businesses and partners, be it to help solve commercial problems using engineering design skills or support environmental challenges through engineering technologies and maker and repair skills.
A light breakfast of pastries and coffee and tea will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.
Following the talk, there will be an opportunity to tour the Engineering School’s industry-leading technical facilities, which include CNC machining and a VR cave.
If you're interested in being part of a future event, please contact cbl.engagement@uwe.ac.uk.
