Description
The theme of this event will be Transport, Travel, and Environmental Sustainability and will feature a brief talk by Sam Kirby, a representative from Bristol City Council, and a team of researchers led by Professor Zaheer Khan. The focus of the talk will be on the innovative concept of GREENGAGE, which has the potential to transform urban planning by creating safe, healthy, inclusive, and climate-neutral communities.
During the talk, Professor Zaheer Khan will provide a brief overview of the GREENGAGE concept. He will also be joined by David Ludlow and Peters-Anders Jan to highlight some of the ground-breaking digital innovations that are targeted as part of this project.
Sam Kirby will also share the latest updates from Bristol City Council on their efforts to co-design net-zero districts for Bristol Liveable Neighbourhoods. He will discuss the administrative, climatic, and institutional changes that are essential for successful transitions towards more sustainable and liveable urban areas.
A light breakfast will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.
If you would like to attend, please complete the registration form no later than Thursday 1 June. Please be aware that spaces are limited, so please ensure you complete this as soon as possible to reserve your space.
