What to expect from a Virtual Open Day

Visit our Open Day page to view upcoming events and pick the one that's most relevant to you. Follow the steps to book your place on our Virtual Open Day.

You can book your course talks and support services sessions when you register for your Open Day.

Once you've registered, you’ll receive an email with your ticket, which shows your timetable for the day, based on the sessions you’ve chosen.

Save the email containing your e-ticket as you can use it to change or add sessions later if necessary. This means you don’t have to book all your sessions straight away. You can also use this email to access your sessions on the day, although we'll also send you reminders.

On the day, you'll be able to access your course talk or support services session by clicking the link in your ticket. You can join the event ten minutes before it is due to start.

When joining the event, select ‘join as a guest’. If you select ‘sign in’, you’ll either not be able to join the event or your name and email address may be visible to other attendees.

Once you've joined, you’ll be prompted to enter a name. Enter your first name only, as this information will be visible to other attendees.

Support services sessions may be recorded and published on UWE Bristol’s YouTube channel for marketing purposes. Only our presenters will be identifiable on the published recordings. Q&A sessions will not be published.
