Campus tours

We know it’s important that you get a chance to visit your future university before you start. We’re looking forward to being able to meet you at one of our campus tours.

About our campus tours

Although COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted on 19 July 2021 by the UK Government, UWE Bristol will be keeping the following guidelines to ensure visitors, ambassadors and staff are kept safe during your visit. Thank you for your co-operation.

We are really pleased to be able to welcome you to one of our ‘in-person’ campus tours. Each tour will last approximately 45 minutes and you will be accompanied by a student ambassador who will be there to guide you and answer any questions you may have.

Important things to remember before you attend

  • Please note that we will be following the latest guidance on safety and making sure our tours are socially distanced.  That does mean that arrangements may be subject to change at short notice. If this happens then we will make sure to get in touch with you as soon as we are able to.
  • There will be toilet facilities and catering facilities available, and so please bring a mask with you so that you can use inside those buildings when necessary.
  • Once you have booked a campus tour time slot, we will send you a confirmation email and we will then send you a reminder with all of the details that you’ll need closer to the time of your tour.
  • In line with our COVID-19 measures, we ask you to arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your tour starts. If you arrive earlier, please ensure you adhere to social distancing.
  • We strongly advise that you take a rapid lateral flow test no more than 72 hours before visiting the campus. Spot checks are carried out on campus and visitors who cannot show evidence of a negative test result may be asked to leave the campus. Find out how to order and where to collect free coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow tests.

Guests

In order to be able to effectively manage the campus tours in line with government guidelines, you must only bring two guests with you.

Staying safe on our campus

We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable during their visit with us.

Hand sanitiser will be provided for all visitors to use and we are limiting tour group sizes to comply with government guidelines. Other social distancing measures have been implemented around campus and we ask that all visitors follow these procedures whilst visiting us.

Please note if safety and coronavirus measures are not complied with, you will not be allowed to take part in the tour.

We request that you do not come onto campus if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.

You can visit our COVID-19 information for more information about staying safe on campus.
