These scholarships are available to selected undergraduate programmes in our School of Computing and Creative Technologies.
About the scholarship
A small number of scholarships are available to year two students on selected undergraduate programmes in our School of Computing and Creative Technologies.
These scholarships were established by the Tony Papadopoullos Charitable Trust in memory of Tony, the founder of software specialist company, Apak, now operating as Sopra Banking Software.
Eligibility
You’re eligible to apply for this scholarship if you:
- are studying on one of the following programmes
- BSc Business Computing
- BSc Computer Science
- BSc Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
- BSc Digital Media
- BSc Games Technology
- BSc IT Management for Business
- BSc Software Engineering
- BSc Software Engineering for Business
- are in your second year of study
- received a module average of 70+ in your first year
- are receiving a UWE bursary
- have a home student fee status
- recieve Student Loan Company funding.
Scholarship benefits
Successful applicants will receive £2,500 in their second year of study and £2,500 in their third year of study.

Applications are by invitation only. If you are eligible, we will contact you with details on how to apply. This is usually during the second term of each academic year.
