GREAT Scholarships 2027
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, three scholarships are available for students from Egypt, India or Thailand who are applying for postgraduate courses.
About the scholarship
GREAT Scholarships offer students from 18 countries the opportunity to receive £10,000 towards their tuition fees for a wide range of one-year taught postgraduate courses.
In the 2026/27 academic year, more than 140 scholarships are offered by more than 60 universities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
UWE Bristol is offering three GREAT Scholarships for eligible students from Egypt, India and Thailand. Each scholarship provides £10,000 in financial support towards one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Applicants must be passport holders of Egypt, India or Thailand.

CGPA and the quality of the personal statement will be the criteria to shortlist applicants for the interview.

Conditions
- Applicants must not be sponsored students or recipients of another UWE Bristol tuition fee discount.
- The successful applicant must engage in ambassadorial responsibilities for UWE Bristol and the British Council.
