Looking to make friends?

Choose Community events to meet people, build connections, learn about university life and discover opportunities to get involved.

Want to feel ready for your course?

Choose Skills events to boost your digital confidence, get familiar with your technology and prepare for learning at university.

Ready to achieve your goals?

Choose Success events to learn how to stay organised, make the most of your opportunities and thrive throughout your studies.

Base rooms

If you have any questions about Starting Block, are unsure which activities to take part in, or need help finding the sessions best suited to you, then you can drop into our Base Rooms across Frenchay campus.

These will be running during the first week of Starting Block and will give you the opportunity to speak to staff and students from your area of study. There will also be some chances to take part in activities and perhaps win a prize.
