How to deposit metadata to the Research Data Repository
The Research Data Repository can accept metadata (information about data) relating to datasets, and in some cases, where the data can be shared without restriction, the datasets themselves.
The quick guide to depositing data (PDF) describes how to enter the metadata when depositing your data files. You can also view the video guide for more information.
- agree to the deposit agreement
- complete all compulsory fields that describe the data associated with your research project
- add details of your funding and PASS codes
- include a link to the data set from the Data Repository record, if your data set is already stored in a research council repository, or in a national repository.
