A programme designed to build the skills, confidence, and mindset you’ll need to succeed in an evolving global workplace.
Day one — Future careers and me
Discover what it means to build a purpose-driven career in a rapidly changing world.
You will:
- explore how global trends are reshaping the future of work.
- hear from inspiring industry speakers sharing real stories of adaptability, leadership, and resilience.
- reflect on personal values, strengths, and goals, and begin shaping a personalised roadmap for future success.
Day two — World of work: Connecting to industry
Step into the real world of work and experience industry challenges first-hand.
You will:
- tackle live business challenges and see how organisations adapt to global forces.
- learn how different industries are evolving and what skills are in demand.
- present ideas to industry professionals, receive practical feedback and build confidence to contribute to the workplaces of tomorrow.
When: 11 and 12 June 2026
Duration: Two days, 9:00 - 17:00
Location: In person, UWE Bristol Frenchay Campus, Bristol.
Eligibility
UK students who are eligible for UWE Bristol Employability Bursary funding.
International students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWE Bristol and currently a resident in the UK.
