Repair café

Description

Our Repair café runs every second Wednesday of the month. This is a chance to get small electrical items and appliances, clothes, textiles and more repaired for free.

You must book your repair in advance. Pre-booked items can be dropped off on the day. Your item will be allocated to a team of volunteer repairers. You are very welcome to stay and watch the process, or you can return to collect your item at the end of the session.

We don't currently have the capacity to fix phones or laptops.

All repairs are done on a voluntary basis at your own discretion and there is no guarantee that your item can be successfully repaired.

Volunteering

We are always looking for volunteers to join our team of repairers! No matter if your strength is in tech or textile, there are plenty of ways to get involved!

Don't have any repair skill yet, but keen to learn? Still get in touch! Repair cafés are all about skill sharing, so do come along for the opportunity to learn.
