Description
Mindful Eating – Conscious Living is an eight-week mindfulness programme that will help you to establish a regular mindfulness practice, and help you to make better choices to manage your mood and stress levels. In addition, you will also learn how to be less anxious and more at ease around food and eating. Through practicing paying attention to the present moment, without judgement, we can cultivate the capacity to tune into the physical experience of eating and how it relates to our moods and emotions. In time, we can regain our natural freedom around food and eating.
This free orientation session is a chance to find out more about the course and ask any questions you may have. It will also be an opportunity for you to experience a short practice in a small group environment, which can help you to assess whether this course is right for you at this time.
Upon completion of your orientation session, you will be invited to formally register on the course and pay your course fees. Attendance at the orientation session is a course requirement.
