Description
The Living Library at UWE
A Living Library is an opportunity to have a conversation with a ‘living book’, a person who would like to talk about their lived experience regarding challenges around race and/or neurodiversity. Each book can be ‘borrowed’ for 20 minutes. We will provide some example questions if you don’t know how to get started! There’s a list of ‘book titles’ and blurbs available online to help you decide who you’d like to talk to.
There’s more details about the event available in our Living Library guide.
When and where is this happening?
The Library are running the Living Library event at Bower Ashton, Frenchay and Glenside campuses, and there is an online event, too.
How do I borrow a book?
You can arrange to borrow a book using the booking system in advance. Alternatively there should be space available on the day so do check in with the registration desk at each location to check and book in.
