Sometimes generative AI receives bad press. However, in this workshop, we focus specifically on how, as an international student, you might find it helpful as you develop your career plans.
We will cover:
- What is “generative AI”?
- Some common generative AI tools you may encounter
- The UWE Career Development Framework – and where AI might be helpful:
- AI to generate career ideas
- AI to identify job titles
- AI to identify skills you may need for different jobs
- AI to help applications (cover letters, CV…)
- AI to help interview practice
- Be aware of the limitations of AI
- Interactive examples
