Start your business's cyber security journey with our student-led advisory service.
CyberWorks student-led advisory service
UWE Bristol CyberWorks is an advisory service for businesses and charities looking to improve their cyber security.
Any business with an online presence is vulnerable to cyber-attack – this can lead to loss of data and costly down-time. Assessing your current cyber security service is the first step towards understanding your risk.
We recognise that making the first step can be daunting, especially if you have no prior cyber security experience.
CyberWorks is an accessible, affordable first step towards improving the security of your business.
How can CyberWorks help my business?
Our advisors will work with you to help you understand your current cyber security posture, and will give you practical, independent and accessible advice on how to strengthen it.
Whether you’re simply exploring your cyber security readiness or preparing to apply for Cyber Essentials certification, CyberWorks will help you identify vulnerabilities, address weaknesses, and mitigate potential threats.
The service is delivered by our highly skilled undergraduate and postgraduate advisors enrolled on our NCSC-certified Cyber Security and Digital Forensics programme, under the supervision of our senior cyber security staff.
Our advisors gain valuable industry experience, whilst bridging the most up-to-date knowledge into your business.
Why choose UWE Bristol?
UWE Bristol is one of only 15 universities in the UK to hold the prestigious Gold Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education (ACE-CSE) award, and is the only ACE-CSE within the South West of England.
