Project summary
This initiative has developed geomorphological methodologies to investigate, document and mitigate the effects of armed conflict on stone-built heritage, and the likely impact of climate change on these sites. Using these new techniques the documentation and conservation of heritage has been successfully achieved across Tunisia, Libya, Yemen and Ukraine as well as a number of sites in the UK. The project works closely with NGOs, museums, the armed forces and other UKHE Institutions to achieve its goals.
