Description
Younity, part of the Octopus Energy family, has a free platform that helps students find volunteering opportunities in the community energy sector and get involved in renewable energy projects. Never heard of community energy?
It’s where volunteers come together to run renewable energy projects, from huge wind turbines to solar panels on schools. The profits are then reinvested back into the community, supporting things like food banks and youth projects. Younity is an award-winning joint venture focused on boosting community energy across the UK.
