Description
Mindful Eating - Conscious Living is an eight-week mindfulness programme that will help you to establish a regular mindfulness practice, and help you to make better choices to manage your mood and stress levels. The focus will be around learning how to be less anxious and more at ease around food and eating. Through practicing paying attention to the present moment, without judgement, we can cultivate the capacity to tune into the physical experience of eating and how they relate to our moods and emotions. In time, we can all regain our natural freedom around food.
This orientation session is a chance to find out more about the course and ask any questions you may have. It will also be an opportunity for you to experience a short practice in a small group environment, which can help you to assess whether this course is right for you at this time.
Upon completion of your orientation session, you will be invited to formally register on the course and pay your course fees via the UWE Bristol WPM System. Attendance at the orientation session is a course requirement.
