Description
For LGBT+ History Month we have a super exciting pop up coming to Glenside Campus.
Do you feel apprehensive going to a salon/barbers? Do you feel uncomfortable going somewhere that only cuts ‘women's' or ‘gent's’ hair?
Have you asked for a certain cut but had it cut to what they think your genders hair should be rather than what you asked for?
Well come to our gender-free pop up where you can get a free hair cut if you can donate to a LGBTQ+ charity in exchange for the cut,
We have asked Jess, the CEO and Founder of dooo, a Bristol Gender-free, all inclusive salon, to come in to cut your hair.
Jess is an award winning barber/hairdresser with eight years of industry experience across the UK and internationally, who specialises in skin fades and creative cuts.
Working with neurodivergent clients is also important to Jess, who takes pride in working with minorities who may not feel safe in hair salon environments.
So come along to the Students' Union Glenside and get a walk-in, on-the-day appointment.
Arrive early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
