Description
Join us at Frenchay Library for our Human Library event where you can take out a 'human book' and hear about a student's personal experience. Learn to unjudge someone and have a conversation you would never normally have access to. We hope to celebrate and share the diversity, challenges and journeys that our students face.
This event will run between 12:00 and 14:00. We only have so many slots that our speakers can run, so please turn up early to avoid any disappointment.
You can come along and choose which 'book' you would like to hear from (or speak to multiple) and then you will have a 10-minute conversation with them about their chosen topic, followed by a 10-minute window for questions and discussion. We will have information on each human book available at the event.
The Human Library event is run in collaboration with the Library at UWE Bristol and the Students' Union.
The event will take place on Level 2 Frenchay Library near the large screen by the entrance.
