This workshop introduces the basics of critically appraising healthcare research. It takes a practical look at how to evaluate evidence and provides a toolkit of resources that you can apply throughout your studies
There is also a How to critically appraise healthcare research workbook with similar activities and content to the live workshop.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop, you will feel more confident about:
- Identifying common research study designs within healthcare.
- Analysing different types of research evidence to answer a specific question.
- Applying the basic principles of critical appraisal to the evidence you find.
