Description
Attend this virtual information session with The Mighty Roar and find out about their volunteering opportunities from April to October 2025.
Sea Turtle Conservation
Volunteer to help critically endangered sea turtles in Kefalonia. Work alongside environmental biologists and conservationists. You can also conduct your own research.
Marine Conservation
Volunteer to protect the Posidian seagrass meadows and sand dune systems in Kefalonia. Understand and research the marine organisms that thrive in the protected areas. You can also conduct your own research.
Turing scheme funding
UWE Bristol has been awarded Turing Scheme funding for 24 students to take part in a 4-week, credit-bearing activity in Greece with The Mighty Roar.
Funding is only guaranteed for eligible students taking part in the Sea Turtle Conversation and Marine Conservation programmes in Kefalonia in summer 2025.
