Description

Mindful Eating - Conscious Living is an eight-week mindfulness programme that will help you to establish a regular mindfulness practice, and help you to make better choices to manage your mood and stress levels.

The focus will be around learning how to be less anxious and more at ease around food and eating. By practicing paying attention to the present moment, without judgement, we can cultivate the capacity to tune into the physical experience of eating and how it relates to our moods and emotions. In time we can regain our natural freedom around food.

This short course is appropriate for anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in mindfulness meditation or mindful eating. You need to be willing to practise the in-class exercises at home between sessions, to fully benefit from the programme.

Registration and tickets

If you are interested in this course, you will be invited to attend an orientation session.

The orientation session is a chance to find out more about the course and ask any questions you may have.  It will also be an opportunity for you to experience a short practice in a small group environment, which can help you to assess whether this course is right for you at this time.

On completion of your orientation session, you will be invited to formally register on the course and pay your course fees via the UWE Bristol WPM System. Attendance at the orientation session is a course requirement.
