Description

Flourish is a series of six interactive workshops designed to help first-year Philosophy, Sociology and Criminology students make a strong start at university. Through games, discussions, team challenges and reflective activities, you'll build confidence, develop effective study habits, explore your values and goals, and form meaningful connections with other students on your course.

Whether you want to meet new people, feel more confident, stay motivated, or simply make the most of your university experience, Flourish is a great way to kick-start your UWE Bristol journey.

This is the fifth event in the Flourish series.

Workshop objectives

Arriving: Get to know your peers, develop your self-awareness, and grow your confidence.

Surviving: Connect to your motivation and develop study habits and time management techniques that actually work.

Thriving: Get clear on your goals, ambitions, and future direction.

Registration and tickets

The workshops run weekly for six weeks, starting on 6 October 2026 and ending on 10 November 2026.

Complete the registration form to sign up. This registration form is for the whole series, not individual sessions.

Places are limited to 30 students. Places will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will hold a waiting list for any places that might come up last-minute.
