Description
Cat has killed her husband.
Paralyzed by trauma she seeks solace in her second home – the Church.
Father Peter, her trusted priest, on hearing her confession, rejects and outcasts her from the Church. Peter will never understand the motive which led to Craig’s death – how could he?
The Union is a search through history and culture to understand the intertwining of Patriarchy, Religion, and domestic relationships.
Shifting between Cat’s last moments of marriage and the larger unspoken influences of society, it lands on one final question – how should one escape systems of oppression?
