Description

Before Jamie is a contemporary play about Jamie, 21, who’s recovering from sexual assault.

During both her waking hours and nightmares, Jamie is taunted by her aggressor and must find the confidence to confront her demons and regain her power.

Via creative writing and her weird but wonderful dreams, she slowly but surely embarks on the journey to acceptance and decides to finally speak out on her experience.

Content warning: issues of sexual assault.
