About the event

Please join us for the Centre for Transport and Society Symposium 2026 which offers a dynamic forum for exploring how transport policy, planning and practice can respond to today’s most pressing societal challenges.

As well as insights from recent research at CTS, the programme features keynote speakers from policy and practice, a panel discussion which promised to be vibrant and 'hands-on' workshops.

Hosted in UWE Bristol's X Block (Bristol Business School building) on Frenchay Campus, the programme also includes networking walks, lunch and an end-of-day reception. Overall, the Symposium provides opportunities to learn, share ideas and connect with others shaping sustainable transport futures.
