Description
Great teams don’t happen by accident and you don’t need to be building one yet to start understanding what makes them work. Whether you’re studying, collaborating on projects, exploring entrepreneurship or developing an idea, understanding how different people, skills and perspectives come together is an important capability.
Creating an Effective Startup Team explores what it takes to build the people and capabilities around an idea as it develops. Through practical activities and discussion, you’ll consider how a clear vision helps attract the right people, how to identify the skills and behaviours needed, assess fit, and think beyond what’s needed today to what might be needed tomorrow. You’ll also explore the challenge of letting go, enabling others to do what they do best, effective onboarding and what can happen when team decisions go wrong.
Whether you’re simply curious, exploring an idea, collaborating with others or already building a team, come ready to discover what makes great teams work.
