Description

Enjoy an outdoor trip and discover the wildlife at this incredible space.

See the Eurasian brown bears alongside wolves in Bear Wood, go wild and explore 50 acres of beautiful nature, from woodlands and gardens to the tranquil Tower Meadow – perfect for summer picnics. There are giraffes, lemurs, meerkats, river hogs, deer, wolves, bears, zebras, cheetahs, and birds.

The gorillas have now been moved from their old Bristol Zoo location to their new home in the African Forest habitat at Wild Place. They will be settling in to their new environment and their new location will be open to visitors in the spring.

There are food outlets at the location, but you may want to bring snacks or lunch to eat.

Conservation

The Bristol Zoo Project saves wildlife through conservation science research, working to protect species and habitats overseas, encouraging sustainable behaviours and perceptions, educating tomorrow’s wildlife warriors, and connecting people with nature through a great day out.
