Description
The theme of this event will be 'diversity in business' and will feature a talk from Sangeetha Wynter, Training and Inclusion Manager from Babbasa, and Lydia Maiden, UWE Bristol EDI Marketing Intern.
Sangeetha will briefly discuss the business, moral, and social case for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), why diversity matters, as well as the challenges of attracting diverse talent. She will reflect on employers' learnings and experiences shared and explore some effective wins to achieve inclusion.
Lydia will be discussing her recent project that explores EDI within the BA(Hons) Business (Team Entrepreneurship) course at UWE Bristol, along with their associated marketing materials. She will delve into the vital role that diverse marketing content can play in enhancing both businesses and courses.
A light breakfast will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.
