Description
The theme of this event will be ‘Green Jobs and how the transition to reflect the importance of these jobs will begin to address the current climate crisis’.
This will feature a brief talk by Damian Whittard and experts in industry providing an update on the Office of National Statistics work on defining green jobs, as well as an overview of the work undertaken by UWE Bristol’s Sustainable Economies Research Group Sustainable Economies Research Group (SERG), which has documented the current state of knowledge in international empirical studies into green jobs.
