Description
A workshop to help you to make the best use of Westlaw Edge UK, the leading law databases and legal practice resources, essential to legal studies at UWE Bristol. You should have already successfully undertaken Westlaw Edge basic certification before attending the advanced.
Westlaw advanced certification tests your ability to confidently complete a high level of legal research on the Westlaw Edge UK platform.
Thomson Reuters Westlaw trainer will deliver this training. They will introduce and demonstrate Westlaw Edge UK and will be able to respond to questions you may have about this database.
The advanced certificate provides evidence of professional legal searching skills which you can add to your CV.
This workshop may take place online in Microsoft Teams – guidance on using Microsoft Teams is available. The workshop will have interactive elements and we recommend that, if possible, you use a laptop or PC. You may wish to use an additional mobile device or another tab in your browser for the interactive elements.
