Description
Come to this session to find out about Think Pacific's Fiji Islands Volunteering Expeditions in Summer 2023. Volunteer in Fiji and experience the unique culture, customs and way of life in the South Pacific islands.
UWE Bristol have partnered with Think Pacific to bring you this amazing opportunity, supported by funding from the UK Government's Turing Scheme and the UWE Employability Bursary.
Staff from Think Pacific and UWE Bristol will be here to tell you all about the programme and the funding available. Students wishing to take part in Summer 2023 must apply to Think Pacific by 11th December.
Programme at a glance
- Award-winning volunteer projects in the South Pacific, since 2009.
- Meaningful team expeditions for students in the Fiji Islands.
- In Partnership with Fijian Government.
- Complete cultural immersion in rural village - live with a traditional Fijian family.
- Work on Youth, Build, Health, Conservation, Sport or Leadership initiatives.
- Develop employability skills, meet like-minded people and contribute to sustainable development.
Project includes
Food, accommodation, 24/7 in-country support, weekend activities, domestic travel and charity donation (Flights not included).What will you achieve?
- Gain 120+ hours of practical international work experience.
- Boost cultural IQ & enhance global perspectives.
- Activate global citizenship & broaden horizons.
- Contribute towards sustainable development, on behalf of our Fijian partners.
- Increase your leadership skills through collaborative work.
- Job references, certificate of completion, and LinkedIn endorsement.
- Potential employment opportunities via the Think Pacific graduate scheme.

You must apply by 11 December 2022. Funding will be assigned first come, first served, based on the date of your application.
