Description
The language we use and our approach to the topic of disability has a dramatic effect on the experiences of disabled individuals.
UWE Bristol prescribes to the social model of disability but what is it and what does this look like in practice?
Frances is a disabled member of staff and was a young carer growing up. She will talk you though what is the social model of disability, what language to use and how to change your mindset.
